Re: Pre-School Screening for Special Education Services

The Jones Early Childhood Center is providing a Special Education pre-school screening for students whose parents/guardians are concerned that their child may have a disability. The screening is only for children who may be in need of special education services. This is not a screening for entrance into kindergarten.
The screening will take place at the Jones Early Childhood Center, 137 Walnut Street, and will cover speech & language development, fine and gross motor skills, and social development. The purpose of this screening is to help determine if your child is in need of special education services. A team of professionals from the Jones ECC will assess your child’s social, fine and gross motor skills, and language development.
