From the Principal...

The Jones Early Childhood Center is our Integrated Preschool Program, located at 137 Walnut Street in Stoughton. We offer both half-day and full-day schedules in which students with a variety of learning styles, interests, and needs develop the academic and social skills necessary for success in Elementary School. As a part of the preschool experience, our students participate in cooperative play, group learning times, drama, experiences with literature, math, and music, physical education sessions, scientific exploration, and art. Our emphasis is on the development of the whole child with attention given to both social competency and early literacy and math skills, based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Students have access to the nurturing expertise of both their classroom teachers and an array of specialists, including Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists.
