Spring Author Series
The next visit in our SPS Spring Author Series takes place TODAY, Monday, April 22 from 5-6pm when Sy Montgomery comes to the Wilkins School (1322 Central St.). For more information and to see a complete schedule for the Spring Author Series, click here.
Health & Wellness Fair
The 2nd Annual Health & Wellness Fair for Stoughton High and O'Donnell Middle School students and families will take place Wednesday, April 24 from 3-7pm at Stoughton High. At 7pm there is a special event at the high school for SPS parents and guardians with Dr. Randi Schuster about approaching teen substance use from a frame of compassion and curiosity. Preschool Open House
The Jones Early Childhood Center will be holding an open house for new students on Wednesday, April 24 from 5-6pm at the Jones ECC (137 Walnut St. in Stoughton). Parents, guardians, and children are welcome. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our preschool program.
SHS Spring Musical
The Stoughton High School Theatre Program will be presenting its spring musical, Pippin, this weekend, April 26-28, in the SHS Auditorium.
Friday, April 26 at 7pm
Saturday, April 27 at 7pm
Sunday, April 28 at 4pm
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors and can be purchased in advance online.
School Committee Meeting
The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, April 23 in the conference room at the SPS District Office, 31 Pierce St. The public portion of the meeting starts at 7pm. An agenda for the meeting can be found here.
Virtual Meeting with Dr. Baeta

Save the Date - New Elementary School Building Project Public Forum
Join us for a public forum to learn more about the new elementary school building project on Monday, April 29 at 6:30pm at the current South School, 171 Ash St. In this meeting, we will present a project update and offer a Q&A session. Following Q&A, tours of the existing South School will be provided for those interested. To learn more about the scope of the project, watch this short video. Save the Date - Parent Workshop
The Stoughton OASIS Coalition and the Stoughton Public Schools are partnering to present a parent workshop about raising confident and capable children. The workshop is geared for parents and guardians of elementary school students and will be held Tuesday, May 7 from 6-8pm at the O'Donnell Middle School, 211 Cushing St. For more information, click here.
Save the Date - Multicultural Night
There will be a Multicultural Night at the Gibbons School (235 Morton St.) on Thursday, May 16 from 6-7:30pm. This event is open to all SPS families. To find out more, and how you can participate (we are looking for families to sign up and run a booth, run an activity, or volunteer), click here.
Registration for Next School Year (2024-2025)
Attention families with students entering preschool or kindergarten in September, or with a student entering grades 1-12 who did not attend the Stoughton Public Schools this school year: The Stoughton Public Schools online pre-registration portal for next school year (2024-2025 school year) is now open. Please visit our Central Registration Office website for more information about the pre-registration process.
Register for SPS Knights of Summer Program
We are able to offer the Knights of Summer camp this summer for SPS students entering grades 2-5. This popular enrichment program will be free of charge. Click here for more information and to register.
